Frank Pierce managed the incredible task of rendering the ancient low-german of the Oera Linda Book into english in a way that retained the purity of the original language. Because the chronology can seem complicated the chaptering is reorganised into four main time-periods, with each of these periods having their own timeline with links to the individual chapters.

Dear inheritors, for our dear forbears’ sake and for our dear freedom’s sake, a thousand times bid I to you.
Oh dear ones, let not the eye of a pope-cap never over this scripture no way.
They speak sweet words but they undermine, unnoticed, all of what concerns us Frisians.
To win rich provender, they conspire with popish kings.
These wit that we are their greatest enemies, for we dare to speak to their people of freedom, right and princely duties.
Therefore, they have destroyed all which comes from our forbears and which yet remains of our old customs.
Oh dear ones, I have been with them at court.
If Wralda will suffer and allow, and if we will not make ourselves strong, they will destroy us altogether.
Written at Liuwert, eighthundred and three years after Christ’s begetting.

1. period Before 2193 - 2000 BC

In this first period we learn about the cataclysmic flood of 2193 BCE, which we today find described in the sciences as the 4.2ka BP event.
The earliest teachings about Wralda and the deceitful priests are included along with Freyas standing script and the enigmatic 3 wheels of Wralda.
The first legal principles regarding freedom, family and safety are also formulated in this period.
In 2144 BCE that is 49 years after the flood the folkmother Festa tells the great story about the 3 sister Lyda, Finda and Freya at the opening of Medeasblik, uniting the people as Freyans in honor of the late burghmother of Flyland.
Finally, the first wars against the Finns and the Magyars and a third unnamed tribe of Findas is described.
During these struggles the great sea-king Wodin joins forces with the priest-king of the Finns and Magyars and is deified after a victorious battle.

2. period 1630 - 1551 BC

In this second period, we learn about an epic battle between the burgmothers Kelta and Minerva. The Folkmother Rosamunda let a common emergency levy be declared and expelled them both. Jon’s fleet faced danger on the Mediterranean coast. With Minerva’s guidance, they found a safe harbour in Attica, where they encountered goatherds.
The priests at Attica accused Minerva of being a witch, but the people sided with Minerva.
After her death, the priests portrayed her as a goddess and made statuettes representing her. Cecrops and his soldiers demanded the surrender of the town, leading the burgmother Gert and her followers to settle in Gertmannia, India.
Minno tells about the basis of righteousness that must be present in all laws and all court decisions and explains the concept of “Ewa” which is deeply associated with the principle of righteousness and also a symbol of Wralda and of water.

3. period 598 - 295 BC

The Magy attacks the Folkmother. A Danish skipper defends the Mother. The Magy offers power but demands her acknowledgment. He killed Frana, the last mother of Freyas folk, when she refused to lie in front of his men. Frana’s prophecy  predicts a successful struggle for freedom.
Thirty years after the folksmother’s murder, Magy controlled states beyond the Weser. A general meeting aimed to stop Magy’s dominance, but uncertainty remained. Adela urged choosing a new Folksmother, recording Freya’s wisdom, and banishing unfree people, emphasizing Magy’s victory through evil and greed. During a festival, fog envelops Adela’s home, leading to a surprise attack by Magyar riders. Adela bravely defends her family before tragically falling victim to a treacherous arrow.

4. period 303 - 263 BC

Two years after Gosa became Mother, a Greek fleet of Freyas settled in Stavere with her consent. Friso developed it into a seaport while Wichhirte and Ionians settled elsewhere. Liudgert’s diary recounts dealings with Alexander the Great.

Friso battles superstitions and fights for Greece’s freedom alongside Demetrius. Friso’s children are abducted. Frisos’s wife refused a bribe, and the children killed themselves. Friso valiantly defends his people, using fiery arrows to defeat enemy fleets.

In Punjab, the Hindoos suffer under corrupt leaders and wild animals. In Kashmir, a royal child faced parental rejection, learned ethics, freed a Fryan slave, and preached self-reliance and equal treatment for all.

Friso’s decision to send his brothers-in-law to gather support for an upcoming war causes division amongst the people. Some disapprove, while others exploit the situation for financial gain.
